Chris Quaka Named BCF CEO/President

Chris Quaka has been appointed as Benton Community Foundation’s new President and CEO.  Chris brings to the position a comprehensive background in business, national service, and proactive fundraising.  He also possesses a great mix of skill sets such as leadership, inspiration, operational experience, and a passion for client relationships.

Chris is a resident of Corvallis, most recently having served as Development Director of Community Outreach, Inc.  Chris and his wife Emily live in Corvallis with their three children, Logan and twins, Cady and Ellie.   He is a member of the Rotary Club After Five and an active volunteer with both the Jefferson Elementary School PTA and the Mid-Valley Development Professionals.

As Chris takes the helm of the Benton Community Foundation, Benton Community Foundation would like to express our sincere appreciation and gratitude to our former President/CEO, Paula Grace.  Paula served the BCF with exceptional distinction, providing strong leadership and judicious guidance for the past five years.  We wish her the best in retirement as she explores new adventures on the Oregon coast.

The Benton Community Foundation is in a strong position as we begin a fresh chapter in the history of the organization.  With an extraordinary group of volunteers that make up our board, a superb professional staff, and a new President/CEO, we look forward to continued growth as we invest in our community through philanthropy for generations to come.
