BCF STAFF

 Chris Quaka, President/CEO Christopher T. Quaka, President/CEO. For more than 15 years, Chris has  served communities fighting social inequity, recovering from natural disaster, and working to solve local  issues.  After earning a B.S. from Southern Illinois University, Chris joined AmeriCorps NCCC to help  people in need across the country.  Chris worked in communities from New Orleans to Camden later  becoming a federal disaster coordinator serving in the wake of Hurricanes Katrina, Rita, and Ike.  Chris  moved to Redmond, Oregon in 2010, where he started his career in fundraising.  Since that time he has raised  more than $4 million dollars for communities in Oregon.  Chris is an active Rotarian and lives in Corvallis  with his wife Emily, and their children Logan (7), Cady (4) and Ellie(4). 

 

 

 


 Sarah, Leskovec, Grants OfficerSarah Leskovec, Grants Manager. Sarah is fortunate to contribute to the community she has grown to admire and be part of the BCF team. Sarah comes to BCF with a diverse background in volunteer management and a passion for non-profits. Sarah graduated from Ohio University with a Bachelors of Arts degree; there she focused her studies on Business Administration she also earned her Master’s Degree from Concordia University in Organizational Management. Her experience working with scholarships and nonprofit Board of Directors will benefit the BCF efforts to make an impact in Benton County. Sarah, her husband, Dave, and their two boys enjoy all that the Pacific Northwest has to offer. Sarah is an avid runner, having completed two marathons, several half-marathons and contemplating what her next big goal should be.

 


 

Bob Long, Finance Manager

Bob Longo, CPA, Finance Manager  Bob Longo grew up in New Jersey and received his BS from Montclair State University and his MBA from Seton Hall University.  He has worked at several Fortune 100-size companies and smaller businesses in the past.  Bob has also taught at the local universities and community colleges for many years in the evenings.  Currently he is teaching business classes at Oregon State University and Linn-Benton Community College.  Bob moved to the area two years ago after spending twenty years working in Klamath Falls.  Over the years, Bob has adopted eight teen boys out of the foster care system and now has seven grandchildren.  
 

 

 


 

Barbara Malloy, Operations ManagerBarbara Malloy, Operations Manager.  Barbara brings to the busy BCF team both office and accounting database experience.   Barbara comes with many years of dedication to the non-profit sector and admiration for this community’s commitment to all of its citizens.  Barbara graduated from the University of California in San Diego and migrated to Oregon in 1995. Barbara’s focus for the past 18 years has been as a certified center director working for quality care in the early childhood education profession.  She appreciates the many opportunities to volunteer in the community and is a member of the Kiwanis Club of Corvallis.   Barbara has two children and one grandchild.  She enjoys white water rafting adventures with her husband throughout the Pacific Northwest and now has two trips down the Grand Canyon Colorado River.
